Virginia High School Volleyball - Galax tips Eastern Montgomery

August 29, 2022: Galax, VA 24333

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) and the visiting Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA), saw Galax's volleyball squad nip Eastern Montgomery by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Galax upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Maroon Tide travel to Graham (Bluefield, VA) to play the G-Men in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. The G-Men go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Graham lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA)

The Mustangs now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bland County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 31. Eastern Montgomery will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Graham (Bluefield, VA). The Bears record now stands at 3-0.
