Ohio High School Football - Hopewell-Loudon tops Margaretta

The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains football squad scored 16 points and limited the host Margaretta Polar Bears to 7 in the Chieftains league triumph on Friday.

The Chieftains now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mohawk for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. Hopewell-Loudon will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 63-0 league win over Bucyrus (Bucyrus, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Margaretta drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Polar bears host Calvert (Tiffin, OH) to meet the Senecas in a Sandusky Bay - River test on Friday, October 4. The Senecas come into the test with a record of 4-2. Calvert won 35-0 in their recent non-league test against Lucas (Lucas, OH)
