The Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) volleyball were winner over the visiting North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Montgomery Central betters its record to 10-6 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to Ledford (Thomasville, NC) to face the Panthers in a Mid-Piedmont 3A outing on Tuesday, October 3. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 9-8. Ledford won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC)
