The Thornton Academy Trojans football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Bonny Eagle Scots to 12 in the Trojans league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Noble for a A South test on Friday, October 4. Thornton Academy will meet a Knights squad coming off a 35-7 non-league win over Marshwood (South Berwick, ME). The Knights record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Bonny Eagle drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Scots host South Portland (South Portland, ME) to meet the Red Riots in a A South test on Friday, October 4. The Red Riots come into the test with a record of 4-0. South Portland won 41-20 in their recent non-league test against Windham (Windham, ME)
