The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Pawnee City Indians to 0 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Thursday.

The Thunderbirds now have a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lourdes Central Catholic for a non-league game on Saturday, October 1. Johnson County Central will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Falls City (Falls City, NE). The Knights record now stands at 10-9.

The Indians (5-14) will now prepare for their game against Diller-Odell (Odell, NE). The Griffin enter the non-league game with a 18-5 record.
