Match Summary
The Thunder defeated PHS tonight in 4's sets that were full of emotion both on the court and in the bleachers. In the first set Taconic showed the home crowd what they are capable of by grabbing a 25-13 win. PHS came back in the 2nd set squeaking out a 25-22 win, but we were able to seal the night in the next two sets 26-24 and 25-16.
Janayah Jones continues to be a huge threat on the net as she put out her season high 12 hits along with 2 blocks and 7 digs. Ella Stodden had a big night as well dishing out 17 assists to go along a hit, a block, 18 digs and an ace. Natalia Dos Santos ran the defense popping up 29 digs, 2 of which were "pancakes"!, a hit and 2 aces. Sophia Duclos was huge off the bench with 12 digs and 4 aces! Jadyn Galliher put the nail in the coffin tonight with a beautiful swing from the left side of the net earning her her 5th hit and ending the match.
