Match Summary
Taconic bounced back after a rough first set but lost in 4 in a match that could have gone either way! 10-25, 30-32, 25-19, 23-25
I'm not gonna lie, I was really worried after that first set! But we were able to regroup, let go of that set, and play some real volleyball. Wahconah is the strongest team that we have faced so far this season and we really took it to them. When you look at the set scores you can see that we made Wahconah have earn their win.
I felt like we did a lot of things better than they did, but they obviously did better at sealing the deal. Some nights things fall your way, and some nights not so much.
Offensively Janayah Jones and Jadyn Galliher had a big night directly each earning 11 points. Janayah had 2 blocks, 2 aces and 7 kills and Jadyn had 5 aces and 6 kills.
Setters Ella Stodden and Nevaeh Williams also filled the stat sheets for the Thunder, while Libero Natalia Dos Santos pulled up 23 digs.
