Match Summary
The Taconic Thunder got the W tonight in Great Barrington beating Monument Mt 3-1 with set scores of: 25-15, 15-25, 25-7, 25-23
Janayah Jones set the gym on fire tonight with some serious hits from the middle. She had 9 kills and a block from the middle of the net with her last crazy swing pounding an overpass down just past the 10' line! Her aggressive play certainly was motivating, and she really took the team on her shoulders at times tonight.
Also from the middle was senior Camille Kenney who had her best night of the season with 8 kills and a dig. Camille had some really nice swings as well as strategically places tips.
Jadyn Galliher and Lacey Daly kept the Monument defense busy as well from the left side of the net with a combination of tips and swings which gave the Thunder a combined 11 kills.
Sophomore Ella Stodden punished Monument Mt with her serving tonight earning herself 9 aces.
Again, I have to give a shout out to Natalia Dos Santos for her 28 digs tonight!
