September 30, 2022: Medford, OR 97504 In Friday's league game, the South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) football team knocked off the host St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR), by a final score of 33-14.
The Lancers (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR). The Bruins come into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Brookings-Harbor toppled Phoenix (Phoenix, OR), 28-14, in a non-league game.
The Crusaders now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Douglas for a 3A Special District 3 game on Friday, October 7. St. Mary's will battle a Trojans team coming off a 38-12 league loss to Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
