Georgia High School Basketball - Dodge County tops Cook
January 10, 2023: Adel, GA 31620 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA) and the host Cook Hornets (Adel, GA), saw Dodge County's basketball squad knock off Cook by a count of 78-60.
With the victory, Dodge County upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA) to play the Purple Hurricane in a AA Region 1 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Purple Hurricane come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Fitzgerald won 71-35 in their recent league challenge against Berrien (Nashville, GA)
Next up, the Hornets play the Worth County Rams (Sylvester, GA) in a AA Region 1 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Cook will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 53-52 league loss to Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA).
