Texas High School Basketball - LBJ Austin overwhelms Crockett
January 10, 2023: Austin, TX 78724 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the LBJ Austin Jaguars (Austin, TX) and the visiting Crockett Cougars (Austin, TX), saw LBJ Austin's basketball squad wallop Crockett by a tally of 73-38.
With the victory, LBJ Austin improves its record to 12-13 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to St. Michael's (Austin, TX) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 16-8. St. Michael's won 76-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Navarro Vikings (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Crockett will attempt to improve on its 4-20 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 59-41 league loss to Travis (Austin, TX).
