Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) and the visiting Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), saw Marion Center's basketball squad hold off Homer-Center by a count of 59-57.

With the victory, Marion Center upgrades its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Stingers host Purchase Line (Commodore, PA) to play the Red Dragons in a Heritage challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Red Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. Purchase Line lost 56-44 in their recent league challenge against Cambria Heights (Patton, PA)
