Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH), 68-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Lowellville upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Rockets travel to Waterloo (Atwater, OH) to play the Vikings in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout on Friday, January 13. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Waterloo won 40-37 in their recent league bout against Springfield (New Middletown, OH)

Next up, the Rams play the Jackson-Milton Bluejays (North Jackson, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout, on Friday, January 13. Mineral Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 57-52 league loss to Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH).
