The Western Reserve Blue Devils basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Mineral Ridge Rams to 57 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leetonia for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Western Reserve will battle a Bears team coming off a 45-29 non-league loss to Heartland Christian (Columbiana, OH). The Bears record now stands at 0-8.

The Rams (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against McKinley (Niles, OH). The Red Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, McKinley was nudged by Poland Seminary (Poland, OH), 50-37, in a league contest.
