Ohio High School Basketball - Western Reserve nips McDonald
February 3, 2023: McDonald, OH 44437 Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH), 39-38 in a league bout.
With the victory, Western Reserve upgrades its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH) to play the Bluejays in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bluejays come into the bout with a record of 6-12. Jackson-Milton lost 68-51 in their recent league bout against Springfield (New Middletown, OH)
Next up, the Blue Devils play the McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout, on Tuesday, February 7. McDonald will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 57-28 league loss to Lowellville (Lowellville, OH).
