January 10, 2023: Monroe, OR 97456 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Monroe Dragons (Monroe, OR) and the visiting Oakridge Warriors (Oakridge, OR), saw Monroe's basketball squad overcome Oakridge by a tally of 50-33.
With the victory, Monroe improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Central Linn (Halsey, OR) to play the Cobras in a 2A Valley Coast challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Cobras come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Central Linn won 55-44 in their recent league challenge against Lowell (Lowell, OR)
Next up, the Warriors play the East Linn Christian Academy Eagles (Lebanon, OR) in a 2A Valley Coast challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Oakridge will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 57-18 league win over Toledo (Toledo, OR).
