Oregon High School Basketball - Central Linn thwarts Monroe
February 1, 2023: Monroe, OR 97456 The Central Linn Cobras (Halsey, OR) basketball knocked off the host Monroe Dragons (Monroe, OR), 47-38 in Wednesday's league test.
The Cobras (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Oakland (Oakland, OR). The Oakers go into the 2A Valley Coast test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Oakland went down by Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR), 70-48, in a league test.
The Dragons now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Gold Beach for a 2A Valley Coast test on Saturday, February 4. Monroe will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 70-48 league win over Oakland (Oakland, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 19-3.
