Georgia High School Basketball - Walnut Grove winner over Seckinger
January 10, 2023: Walnut Grove, GA 30052 The Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) basketball felled the visiting Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA), 64-55 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warriors (8-10) will now prepare for their test against North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Titans go into the AAAA Region 8B test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, North Oconee thwarted Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA), 71-53, in a league test.
The Jaguars now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Madison County for a AAAA Region 8B test on Friday, January 13. Seckinger will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 62-47 league win over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 16-2.
