Michigan High School Basketball - Star International Academy tops Universal Academy
January 10, 2023: Dearborn Heights, MI 48127 Star International Academy Falcons (Dearborn Heights, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Universal Academy Eagles (Detroit, MI), 53-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Star International Academy upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Canton Preparatory (Canton, MI) to play the Chargers in a Detroit Metro bout on Thursday, January 12. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Canton Preparatory lost 62-20 in their recent non-league bout against Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI)
Next up, the Eagles play the Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES (Detroit, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Universal Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The WOLVES come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 39-33 league loss to Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI).
