In Tuesday's league match, the host Ashbrook Greenwave basketball team scored a decisive 61-38 triumph over the Stuart W. Cramer Storm.

In their next game, the Greenwave meet the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 11. Ashbrook will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Golden Lions enter the match with a 10-1 record after their 63-23 league win over East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC).
