North Carolina High School Basketball - North Gaston trounced by Ashbrook

January 31, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28054

The Ashbrook Greenwave routed the visiting North Gaston Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 61-13 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Greenwave face the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) in a 3A Conference 50 game, on Friday, February 3. Ashbrook will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Storm enter the game with a 16-5 record after their 52-49 league loss to Huss (Gastonia, NC).

With the defeat, North Gaston moves to 1-20 on the year. The Wildcats host Crest (Shelby, NC) to face the Chargers in a 3A Conference 50 game on Friday, February 3. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 9-11. Crest won 50-36 in their recent league game against South Point (Belmont, NC)
