January 17, 2023: Belmont, NC 28012

South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 64-29 in a league bout.

With the win, South Point upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to clash with the Jaguars in a 3A Conference 50 bout on Friday, January 20. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Forestview lost 60-28 in their recent league bout against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) in a 3A Conference 50 bout, on Thursday, January 19. North Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 60-28 league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC).
