January 10, 2023: Salem, WI 53168 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Westosha Central Falcons (Salem, WI) and the visiting Delavan-Darien Comets (Delavan, WI), saw Westosha Central's basketball squad hold off Delavan-Darien by a tally of 46-43.
With the victory, Westosha Central improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Falcons host Badger (Lake Geneva, WI) to confront the Badgers in a Southern Lakes challenge on Friday, January 13. The Badgers come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Badger won 61-41 in their recent league challenge against Waterford (Waterford, WI)
Next up, the Comets confront the Union Grove Broncos (Union Grove, WI) in a Southern Lakes challenge, on Friday, January 13. Delavan-Darien will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 62-21 non-league win over South Milwaukee (South Milwaukee, WI).
