February 3, 2023: Wilmot, WI 53192 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Delavan-Darien Comets (Delavan, WI) and the host Wilmot Panthers (Wilmot, WI), saw Delavan-Darien's basketball squad hold off Wilmot by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, Delavan-Darien improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Waterford (Waterford, WI) to play the Wolverines in a Southern Lakes challenge on Monday, February 6. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Waterford lost 50-46 in their recent league challenge against Elkhorn (Elkhorn, WI)
Next up, the Panthers play the Union Grove Broncos (Union Grove, WI) in a Southern Lakes challenge, on Friday, February 10. Wilmot will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 18-1 record after their 53-33 league win over Badger (Lake Geneva, WI).
