In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Harmony Longhorns (Harmony, FL) basketball squad beat the host Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL), by a count of 41-33.

The Longhorns (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Poinciana (Kissimmee, FL). The Eagles go into the 7A District 6 outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Poinciana defeated Osceola (Kissimmee, FL), 51-41, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Rockledge for a 5A District 13 outing on Wednesday, January 11. Merritt Island will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 39-35 non-league loss to Vero Beach (Vero Beach, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 8-10.
