The Perry County Vikings basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Hughes Lions to 25 in the Vikings league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Carroll for a 1A District 12 contest on Friday, January 13. Perry County will battle a War Eagles team coming off a 44-40 league loss to Clarksburg (Clarksburg, TN). The War Eagles record now stands at 5-4.

The Lions (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central (Bruceton, TN). The Tigers come into the 1A District 12 contest with a 4-10 record.
