Connecticut High School Basketball - St. Joseph fells Warde
January 10, 2023: Trumbull, CT 06611 St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT), 48-33 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Cadets travel to Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT) to play the Hilltoppers in a Fairfield County bout on Friday, January 13. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Bridgeport Central lost 63-20 in their recent league bout against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Friday, January 13. Warde will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 47-30 non-league loss to New London (New London, CT).
