January 10, 2023: Tarboro, NC 27886 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC) and the visiting KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC), saw North Edgecombe's basketball squad hold off KIPP Pride by a count of 68-67.
With the victory, North Edgecombe upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Northern Nash won 57-56 in their recent league challenge against Franklinton (Franklinton, NC)
Next up, the Pride play the Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. KIPP Pride will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 54-47 league loss to Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC).
