KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), 68-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, KIPP Pride upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Pride travel to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC) to play the Warriors in a bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 7-4. North Edgecombe won 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against Northampton County (Gaston, NC)

Next up, the Vikings play the Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Northwest Halifax will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 65-45 non-league win over Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC).
