Michigan High School Basketball - Mendon tops Burr Oak
January 10, 2024: Mendon, MI 49072 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mendon Hornets (Mendon, MI) and the visiting Burr Oak Bobcats (Burr Oak, MI), saw Mendon's basketball squad knock off Burr Oak by a count of 60-47.
With the victory, Mendon upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Howardsville Christian (Marcellus, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Howardsville Christian lost 65-64 in their recent league challenge against Our Lady of the Lake Catholic (St. Joseph, MI)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Athens Indians (Athens, MI) in a Southern Central challenge, on Monday, January 15. Burr Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 59-26 league loss to St. Philip Catholic Central (Battle Creek, MI).
