New York High School Basketball - Nichols crushes Cardinal O'Hara

Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cardinal O'Hara Hawks (Tonawanda, NY), 81-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Nichols upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY) to play the Tigers in a Monsignor Martin bout on Thursday, January 11. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Bishop Timon-St. Jude won 65-61 in their recent non-league bout against Syracuse Academy of Science (Syracuse, NY)

Next up, the Hawks play the St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders (Buffalo, NY) in a Monsignor Martin bout, on Thursday, January 11. Cardinal O'Hara will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Marauders go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 83-63 league loss to Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY).
