The St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders (Buffalo, NY) basketball nipped the host Cardinal O'Hara Hawks (Tonawanda, NY), 44-39 in Thursday's league test.

The Marauders (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Niagara Falls (Niagara Falls, NY). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Niagara Falls was tipped by Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY), 60-57, in a non-league test.

The Hawks now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Timon-St. Jude for a Monsignor Martin test on Friday, January 19.
