January 10, 2024: Mount Carmel, PA 17851 The Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES ran past the visiting Warrior Run Defenders basketball team by a final score of 55-46 in Wednesday's league game.
In their next game, the RED TORNADOES face the Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) in a Heartland III game, on Saturday, January 13. Mount Carmel will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Lancers enter the game with a 10-1 record after their 80-49 league win over Hughesville (Hughesville, PA).
With the defeat, Warrior Run moves to 5-4 on the year. The Defenders host Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA) to face the Tigers in a Heartland III bout on Saturday, January 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-3.
