New York High School Basketball - Northern Adirondack holds off Saranac
January 10, 2024: Saranac, NY 12981 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Northern Adirondack Bobcats (Ellenburg Depot, NY) and the host Saranac Spartans (Saranac, NY), saw Northern Adirondack's basketball squad hold off Saranac by a tally of 57-50.
With the victory, Northern Adirondack improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Peru (Peru, NY) to confront the Nighthawks in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Friday, January 12. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Peru lost 60-35 in their recent league challenge against Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II challenge, on Friday, January 12. Saranac will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 64-56 league win over Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY).
