California High School Basketball - Placer ripped by Ponderosa

The Ponderosa Bruins basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Placer Hillmen to 33 in the Bruins league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bruins now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakmont for a Foothill Valley contest on Friday, January 12. Ponderosa will battle a Vikings team coming off a 50-46 league win over West Park (Roseville, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 9-9.

The Hillmen (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras enter the Foothill Valley contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Lincoln triumphed over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 72-47, in a league contest.
