In Thursday's league match, the visiting Ponderosa Bruins basketball team scored a tight 55-48 triumph over the Placer Hillmen.

In their next game, the Bruins meet the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) in a Foothill Valley match, on Tuesday, January 30. Ponderosa will attempt to better on its 17-7 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 9-14 record after their 56-46 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA).
