With the victory, Marvin Ridge improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Palisades (Charlotte, NC) to play the Pumas in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Pumas come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Palisades won 51-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Olympic (Charlotte, NC)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Cuthbertson will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 50-19 non-league loss to Weddington (Matthews, NC).
