Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), 58-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Northern Guilford upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Nighthawks host Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Western Guilford won 40-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC)
