Michigan High School Basketball - Caro holds off Vassar

In Friday's league contest, the host Caro Tigers basketball team scored a close 49-42 triumph over the Vassar Vulcans.

The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI). The Patriots go into the Greater Thumb - West contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Unionville-Sebewaing was tipped by Cass City (Cass City, MI), 54-48, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Vulcans confront the Cass City Red Hawks (Cass City, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Vassar will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Red Hawks go into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 54-48 league win over Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI).
