Caro Tigers (Caro, MI) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), 62-60 in a league match.

With the victory, Caro advances its record to 7-11 on the year. The Tigers host Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI) to meet the Patriots in a Greater Thumb - West match on Friday, February 7. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 9-10. Unionville-Sebewaing lost 56-45 in their recent league match against Cass City (Cass City, MI)

The Vulcans now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cass City for a Greater Thumb - West match on Friday, February 7. Vassar will meet a Red Hawks squad coming off a 56-45 league win over Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 9-9.
