In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Cibola Cougars basketball team scored a good 82-64 triumph over the Hope Christian Huskies.

The Cougars (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, La Cueva was toppled by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 69-50, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies confront the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11.
