In Friday's league contest, the host Cicero Prep Academy Centurions basketball team scored a close 57-50 triumph over the Ray Bearcats.

The Centurions (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against The Gregory School (Tucson, AZ). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, The Gregory School nipped Hayden (Winkelman, AZ), 61-49, in a non-league contest.
