Texas High School Basketball - Leander holds off Glenn
January 10, 2025: Leander, TX 78641 The Leander Lions basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Glenn Grizzlies to 61 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now have a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty Hill for a 5A Region IV District 25 game on Tuesday, January 14. Leander will confront a Panthers team coming off a 66-44 league win over Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 20-5.
With the loss, Glenn falls to 9-12 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Rouse (Leander, TX) to confront the Raiders in a 5A Region IV District 25 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 17-8. Rouse won 86-45 in their recent league game against Lockhart (Lockhart, TX)
