The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Sanderson Eagles (Sanderson, TX) and the host Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys (Grandfalls, TX), observed Sanderson's basketball team knock off Grandfalls-Royalty by a score of 61-41.

The Eagles (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Buena Vista (Imperial, TX). The Longhorns come into the 1A Region II District 10 challenge with a 2-7 record.
