Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Knoch sneaks past North Catholic

January 10, 2025: Saxonburg, PA 16056

The Knoch Knights (Saxonburg, PA) basketball edged the visiting North Catholic Trojans (Cranberry Township, PA), 61-56 in Friday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Freeport for a WPIAL 4A 1 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Knoch will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 49-45 league loss to Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, North Catholic falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA) to play the Lancers in a WPIAL 4A 1 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Deer Lakes won 67-49 in their recent non-league bout against Derry (Derry, PA)
