Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Valley trounced by North Catholic
January 24, 2025: New Kensington, PA 15068 North Catholic Trojans (Cranberry Township, PA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Valley Vikings (New Kensington, PA), 83-49 in a league match.
With the victory, North Catholic advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Freeport (Freeport, PA) to face the Yellowjackets in a WPIAL 4A 1 match on Monday, January 27. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 3-11. Freeport won 55-44 in their recent non-league match against East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA)
The Vikings now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freeport for a WPIAL 4A 1 match on Tuesday, January 28. Valley will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 80-51 league loss to North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-12.
