Connecticut High School Basketball - Thomaston can't hold off Lakeview
January 10, 2025: Litchfield, CT 06759 Lakeview Warriors (Litchfield, CT) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT), 56-52 in a league match.
With the victory, Lakeview advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Gilbert (Winsted, CT) to face the Yellowjackets in a Berkshire match on Friday, January 17. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 0-2. Gilbert lost 105-36 in their recent league match against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT)
The Bears now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windsor Locks for a non-league match on Monday, January 13. Thomaston will face a Raiders squad coming off a 70-55 non-league loss to Academy of Aerospace and Engineering (Windsor, CT). The Raiders record now stands at 4-3.
