The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) and the host Winters Mill Falcons (Westminster, MD), observed South Carroll's basketball team knock off Winters Mill by a score of 59-50.

The Cavaliers (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Sykesville, MD). The Lions come into the Carroll County challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Liberty dropped by Century (Sykesville, MD), 48-36, in a league challenge.
