Maryland High School Basketball - South Carroll holds off Boonsboro

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting South Carroll Cavaliers basketball team scored a close 49-45 triumph over the Boonsboro Warriors.

The Cavaliers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Century (Sykesville, MD). The Knights go into the Carroll County contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Century nipped Owings Mills (Owings Mills, MD), 59-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD) in a CMC contest, on Thursday, December 12. Boonsboro will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
