Texas High School Basketball - Riverside overwhelms Clint

The Riverside Rangers basketball team scored 85 points and limited the visiting Clint Lions to 31 in the Rangers league triumph on Friday.

The Rangers now possess a 15-8 record. They play next when they travel to Fabens for a 4A Region I District 2 game on Tuesday, January 14. Riverside will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 49-30 league win over Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Clint falls to 17-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Mountain View (El Paso, TX) to confront the Lobos in a 4A Region I District 2 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Lobos go into the game with a record of 14-8. Mountain View lost 28-25 in their recent league game against San Elizario (San Elizario, TX)
